Oh-Spit was born after the arrival of my son, Houston. Following his birth with a rare genetic syndrome, I found myself spending a lot more time at home and searching for baby essentials that actually worked for us.

One thing I quickly discovered was that I couldn't find absorbent burp cloths that were practical, durable, and fun. Everything seemed plain, boring, or just didn't soak up the endless dribbles, spills, and spit-ups that come with baby life. So I decided to make my own.

What started in 2022 as a handful of handmade burp cloths sewn for my own family soon grew into something much bigger. Friends wanted them, then friends of friends wanted them, and before I knew it, Oh-Spit was sending handmade burp cloths and bibs all across Australia.

Today, every Oh-Spit bib and burp cloth is still lovingly handmade on the Sunshine Coast. We're passionate about creating products that are as practical as they are fun, with bright, bold prints designed to bring a little extra joy to the messy moments of parenthood.

Because around here, we believe drool is cool.
